Far North Queensland hotel rooms a the Quest Serviced Apartments

"Great location, easy to walk to the Esplanade which has a lot of restaurants and bars and across from the aquarium The room we got appeared to have been recently renovated and had an outdoor seating area for us to use which was great The downside was the Internet access was very hit and miss, but that could have been due to the location of the room #201 which was far from the reception The bathroom door stuck on the floor so had to be lifted to open and close to avoid a very loud squeak Initially we were offered a ground floor room, which was level with the parking, so if you wanted to use the outdoor seating it was directly in front of parked cars, get the 2nd floor if this is an issue for you The pool looked nice, but the weather wasn't the best so we didn't use it Overall would recommend"

"We enjoyed the buffet breakfast available till 10am, then relaxed by one of the three pools. We tried a different room this time. It had a separate bedroom with a very comfortable king size bed, air conditioner and small mounted TV. and ensuite. The kitchen was equipped with a microwave and frypan with dishes, wine glasses and cutlery, a small dining table and chairs and an air conditioner. There was also a single bed in this area, a 2-seater sofa and a small TV. All very clean and very comfortable."

"Overall, everything was perfect! However, the television power kept turning off automatically whenever we came back from lunch or dinner, and this happened for two nights in a row. What made us uncomfortable was that the staff seemed impatient about the issue and implied that we had been using too much electricity, even though we had just returned from being outside. We didn’t feel very comfortable with the attitude during those interactions."

"We stayed in the residence. It was nice to have the extra room, kitchen, and laundry. Clean and comfortable stay. The AC could have been better. The steakhouse was not very good and overpriced. We had a better meal at the Paper Crane at the Riley down the street, and also at the Hilton."
