"I booked a single room at Woodbine for my father who was attending my daughter's graduation at Exeter University. The owners let my dad check in early and he said the whole experience of staying there was excellent, the property was comfortable and clean and the owners were very helpful."

"I stayed overnight whilst on a business trip. Room was really good with all of the amenities that I needed. Friendly staff were very helpful. Food was excellent, both evening meal and breakfast. Good atmosphere at night and in a good setting. If you usually use a budget hotel chain, try this place instead. Excellent value and I will definitely use again if I need a stopover in that area."

"First room smelt of smoke but we were moved quickly when we asked for another room. Both rooms we saw had disabled adapted bathrooms. Not sure why we were given those facilities! Breakfast plentiful. Orange juice very cheap and needs replacing but all other breakfast offerings enjoyable. All staff we met were friendly and helpful. Parking in multi storey opposite easy though £10 pn extra. We slept well with no disturbance despite the hotel hosting 3 stag groups. "
