"Enjoyed our stay at this Super 8 in Mackinaw city! Our room had a great view of the waterfront and Mackinaw bridge. This hotel is within walking distance to the downtown core and the ferry to Mackinac island. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel offers coffee and minimal breakfast options."

Another suggestion for people who suffered thru the smoke, offer a return stay incentive of 20% off. After wanting to visit for ages it was so disappointing not to be able to see anything"

"I loved the location and the price was very reasonable for the area. The staff were very helpful and even let me check in a couple hours early. You could smell the freshness when you walked into the room and it was well air conditioned. My only complaints are that we had a tough time keeping the refrigerator door closed and it lacked a freezer. Also there was no microwave so you couldn’t reheat a meal and the bathroom could have used some updating. The tub and shower were clean but seemed a bit worn and lacked many places to set things Also the light was kind of dim. I have tried a lot of hotels in St. Ignace and Mackinaw City and its location, cleanliness, and price make it an excellent place to stay."
