"Staying at Idle awhile cliff is a great stay, however be aware of the very idle vibe. Things are extremely relaxed. Most people go out for dinner in the evenings, so staff is normally gone by 7pm on the dot. This property has so much potential but I am afraid it’s a tad bit neglected because it is the smaller of the 3 properties. The concept of the room is amazing. The property itself seems to still be recovering post hurricanes as some construction and maintenance work are needed especially for attention to detail. The pool wasn't clean and that was a disappointment as well. The place has a lot of potential and I'm hoping they'll be able to get there one day or return to better conditions."

"This is an old property. The accommodations are not what we are accustomed to. The architecture is interesting as it resembles French colonial from the early 1900s. The place seems abandoned but there are other guests there. Mostly people who work at other resorts. Reception is not staffed consistently. The best part of this place is location across the street from skylark beach club. This is where we hung out during the day. Also this place is very quiet and relaxing."
