"Decent stay for a reasonable price. Older building. You could tell they used to allow smoking in the rooms in the 70s/80s. Clean sheets and decent mattress. Floors not too clean and dust bunnies around. AC works. Windows painted shut. Fast hot water. "

"We’ve been doing a road trip of California and SLO/Petit Soleil has been our absolute favourite place so far. From the amazing staff to the gorgeous hotel/rooms, we couldn’t fault it. We loved their aperitif hour and breakfast, both of which were an amazing touch. We had the best time and can’t wait to come back at some point in the future. Thanks so much for having us!"

"Fireplace is on a 30 minute timer. It would be nice to run it throughout the night. The pool area was cluttered and dirty. The hot tub only seats 5 people and there is constantly 8 or more in it. Waited 2 hours to get to use the hot tub and never got to use it. Need a larger pool and hot tub to accommodate the size of the hotel. The Trellis bathrooms are to small, and the King rooms are small on the Trellis Court as well. They try to make a regular King Room look like a suite with a couch and it makes the walk around space small. The shower, sink and toilet are all cramped into a half size bathroom. The room was dirty. The restaurant closes daily at 2 p.m. We ate breakfast, but the service was poor. Had to get up to find someone everytime we wanted a refill. Had to go to the front register without a bill. Then they had to find our waitress to get it. The cashier did not know how to use the register."

"This place is horrible. We had a large group staying here and most of our rooms had broken/non functioning AC units. It was a miserable 3 day stay. i'll never stay here again. worst place i've ever stayed. "
