Our room was clean and spacious. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was the typical hotel buffet, nothing exceptional. The pool and hot tub were nice, located on the roof, the only downside is the hot tub location. If they had put it on the other side of the pool you would see the sunset. I would stay here again if I came back through.

We were driving north on 101, and decided to stop in SLO for the night. We love using Expedia's app to find a place where we think we can stop. This property stood out as being conveniently located (we like to be able to walk places) and looked newer / clean. It met all of those expectations, and actually really impressed me. I would not expect the same from another La Quinta, but this one worked out well.
