"What an absolutely amazing place. We have fallen in love with the hotel and the Island and didn’t want to leave. However we did have a mess up at check in which I think the hotel could have handled differently. We checked in ( after the stated check in time ) and were given our room but when we got to the room it was already occupied. We were told by reception to take a seat and they would look for another room. The hotel was obviously not full but we were kept waiting for about 2 hours....

"The hotel and the host were great! There is a seating area in the lobby bar in the next room, also outside seating. They have air conditioning in the bar and in the rooms, which is great. Within the hotel rooms they have done some recent renovations, main beds are brand new, loved to sleep in them and the beds are huge! Bathroom has also seen some renovations, there is a new mirror and shower cabinet, and the shower provides great water pressure with plenty of hot water. Within the room there...

"The hotel has great views. However, we found some of the facilities could be improved. It offers a pickup by speedboat (10 minutes in the boat, the rest by car) from the airport. If you travel to the island on the ferry no offer to collect you from the quayside or just your cases was available. In the heat it is quite a struggle for an elderly couple. "Family of four staying in adjoining rooms which was perfect. Modern decor in rooms,very comfortable and spacious bathrooms. Water and fruit on arrival in room and fridge for your useage.Rooms cleaned to a high standard daily. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice. Dinner was really good too, again buffet style with plenty to choose from. Pool was brilliant with the added bonus of swim up bar and slides for all to enjoy. Plenty sun loungers and nobody could put their towels down until 9am which I thought was so much better than many places I have visited before. Great snack bar also for lunch which you could takeaway. We didn’t use Maro world but it seemed a great option for kids. Short walk to the beach which was beautiful to swim in. Top tip is take water shoes as most beaches are Peebles. There is a few shops/restuarants very near by which is handy for snacks/water and gifts. We booked the 3 island full day trip through the hotel which I would highly recommend. Very good value and idyllic islands, again take your water shoes! Ubers are a good way to get about to visit other places as is the bus which we used to go into cavtat - such a beautiful spot especially when the sun is setting. We visited the city walls, pick your time to go as the heat is intense. Worth doing though. Overall a lovely hotel in a great location. "
