Hotels near El Dorado Water Park

"The property is like every other Hyatt property anywhere near a beach. The staff were either super attentive or acted like they are doing you a favor. Food was ok at best. We left the all inclusive resort to get a decent meal. The swim up room description was alittle misleading, it was more like a step down moat. If you just want to lay next to a pool with free drinks, this is not the worst place."

"Beautiful property, the food was incredibly delicious and great quality. The staff were all un amor!! So caring, friendly and ready to assist! The rooms were a little worn but still very clean and well maintained. The gym equipment can use an update."

"The listing is misleading, you have to drive to the beach and in order to get there you have to either rent a golf cart for your entire stay or rent a car. We rented a car because we wanted to get around to supermarkets shopping etc. there was no direction or suggestions for what to do there we had to figure it out ourselves ( not a problem but if you are selling yourself as a vacation you should at least have some suggestions). The communication was awful they offered our first gallon of drinking water but there was none. Don’t flush your toilet paper and be prepared to pay for the electricity you use depending on how many rooms you need. All of these little things add up and if you are not prepared it will take you aback. Also they said I didn’t complete check in despite my reaching out multiple times on the first day ( per their instructions, and them giving a temporary code to the unit) and they didn’t get back to me with the link to do so hence we were locked out for a whole night and had to sleep in our car until we got ahold of someone ( finally) . All in all the unit is pretty but not a practical place to stay for a worry free vacation. Do an all inclusive instead "
