La habitación estaba limpia, entrar al lugar es como viajar por el tiempo jaja, pero es un lugar acogedor. Se nos hizo unos 10 minutos tarde para salir y la persona fue algo ruda en pedirnos que nos retiráramos, pero todo lo demás está bien si solo usaras el lugar para dormir; la regadera (como muchas en Europa) es diminuta, pero cumple su función.

Struttura pulita a 15 min a piedi dal Royal Mile, disponibili servizi nelle vicinanze e con accesso limitrofo al parco di Holyrood… Host molto gentile, ci ha permesso il check in anticipato e dimostrato comprensione verso la rottura del copri water per la quale ho comunque lasciato un contributo monetario (20€)

Lovely stay and very comfortable bed, was nicely surprised how nice and spacious the room was. Great for the price and close to train station/ bus routes/ and city centre. Staff was lovely and attentive. Would happily stay again

I was met with a very warm welcome by a happy and friendly Manager when i arrived at the hotel. The Manager took the time to show me to my room and to explain the facilities. The room was very clean, the large bed in my chosen room was very comfortable. The ensuite bathroom was lovely, the shower was electric so there was plenty of hot water. The toilet was very clean with a washbasin which had a full liquid soap dispenser. The room facilities included a comfortable chair to relax in plus Tea and Coffee making facilities with a good selection of tea's and coffee plus cream and sugar. Also a large bottle of Spring water and glasses was made available for my convenience. The room itself was well cleaned and to note the room smelled clean, with no nasty odours. A credit to the cleaning staff at the hotel. As a footnote on my very honest review here and to be very clear .... the room that i stayed in did have some tired furniture, but everything worked as it should and for the price that i payed i was more than pleasantly surprised....i was very happy. The hotel is in a great location with many local takeaways and restaurants nearby, a selection of handy nearby small shops plus supermarkets including Sainsbury's and the Coop. Bus stops within 5 minutes walking distance of the hotel, with buses every 5 to 10 minutes into Edinburgh if you don't fancy the 25 minute walk. All in all i was delighted with my stay in the hotel and would definitely recommend this to others.
