Excellent location, simple check in and a small cafe/bar in the lobby. If you’ve arrived by train the location Is so convenient (taking the market street exit there will be stairs). Location is also perfect for all the sights! Wifi was strong, A few steps to the room…but it’s Edinburgh and nothing is flat!

Clean and comfy room. Many attractions within walking distance. Lots of food options close by. A little noisy when the bars closed down, but too tired from sight seeing to really notice. Great staff, clean room, stellar location. Only downside of the location is it also seems to be a gathering space for the very drunk and disorderly right outside the hotel in the square. It didn’t feel unsafe, but was just noisy at times. Great spot though. Highly recommend.
