If you are looking for a centrally located place in Edinburgh, this is it! So easy to get around, a view of the castle when you walk out the door, very close to restaurants and bars. Highly recommend.

Pretty basic. Beds were comfortable but the pillows were hard. First room had a wet floor and smelled musty so we were thankful to get another room. Staff was great in that regard. Rooms have few amenities, for example a mini bar or fridge. Location was great. Pretty much what we expected given the low-ish price.

The hotel was nice and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was a very nice addition … the chocolate croissant was really good. We found the room to rather warm and the AC didn’t seem to make any difference. We did ask the front desk , who everyone we spoke with there was always exceptional and very nice / helpful, if they had a fan and they did! So the delivered a fan to our room and it really helped. The location of the property was great …. Directly across the street from the castle so that was nice. Within walking distance to the train station, the Royal Mile… basically anything or anywhere you wanted go you could be there in about 20 minutes or less by foot

Our room was ok. The bed did not seem to be completely made when we arrived, thrown together! The amenities in the room are very basic. The ac did not seem to be working very well. The staff was great, courteous and helpful!! The breakfast was good, great staff. The location of this premier inn was great!

rooms are small. Carpet was stained and needs to be replaced.. Looked like bleach stains. Bathrooms were fine and clean. Hard flooring throughout the room would be the best alternative to carpet. Great location…close to shops, restaurants, park and Castle.

Premier Inn has really upped their game! We had a lovely stay, comfy bed, clean room and excellent breakfast buffet! Our only request is they include a fluffier pillow along with the flat ones.
