I really enjoyed this stay. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and breakfast had so many options and tasted great. Staff was very friendly, and there were convenience stores, bakeries, and great restaurants a short distance from the hotel. It's about 15 mins on foot to the main areas, but I liked the quietness of this location and saw no issue with the length of the walk. I would 100% be staying here again on my next trip to Edinburgh.

Very nice and friendly hotel

Hotel was clean and the service was excellent and very helpfull. The location was very good. Room was nice and it was big eneough. Only thing that could have been better was the shower.

The hotel overall was excellent. It is good value for money and is in a good location not too far from the centre. The breakfast was very good too and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing that we would comment on is that because the rooms don't have opening windows, they are airless. I know this can't be changed, but that is the only negative thing. Would definitely stay here again if we visit Edinburgh.

I’d absolutely stay here again. The staff was so kind, fun, and helpful. Breakfast was great. From Princes St the bus brought us within a two minute walk. Wish we had eaten in the Lebanese restaurant there in the lobby.

Hampton Inn Edinburgh Fountainbridge

We have stayed here a few times. Easy to get to and close to princes street and grass market. Hotel is very good quick check in very comfortable rooms and good breakfast. We would certainly book again and would recommend.

This hotel is still new. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and everything still looks new. The location is good, quiet. We specially liked the fact that you can catch 2 buses on the front of the hotel which took you to and from the city centre. These buses (1 and 34) run frequently and it only takes around 10 mins to get to the centre. There is also a lovely pub/restaurant a few minutes walk from the hotel (The Fountain) where we had amazing food!! In front of this pub is a small cinema complex where you can find other chain restaurants like Pizza Hut, Five Guys, etc. The hotel itself has a Lebanese Street Food restaurant too. The hotel breakfast was good too! All in all a very good hotel!
