Ebbsfleet hotel rooms a the GLH Hotels

"Checked in Sunday evening at 8:45. Went to bar, ordered drink, about to order food. Power cut. Emergency lighting for rest of night, no food, limited everything else. No water pressure so couldn't shower etc. Staff didn't know what was going on or what to do. It was a problem just at the hotel, not the local area. No explanation or apology at check out."

"Great position, sunny afternoon siting lakeside was wonderful. The hotel was a little tired but clean. Breakfast was horrendous, went down at 9:30 ( breakfast finished at 10:30) and didn’t actually receive by cooked breakfast until 10:45, 1.5 hours for a very basic breakfast is just not acceptable. I would image the kitchen being under resourced, plenty of serving staff, just nothing coming out."

"So upon arriving we didn’t realise that the spa wasn’t included in the already high price we paid , so paid another £40 to use the spa and pool , along with a further £100 as a holding deposit again not a problem just unexpected, once checked in we soon realised that this hotel was far from what we expected, to begin with the large luxury bed turned out to be 2 single beds and mattress pushed together, the room was really hot obviously not air conditioned, nor a fan in the room, so walked to reception asked for a fan , the receptionist explained that they don’t have any to hand but will try to find one , which credit to her she did but trouble was it was a builders style fan so really noisy,, then looking closer at room we noticed cobwebs, and faded headboard, and just a general grubby feel to the room in general, also the shower absolutely soaks the bathroom floor no matter what you do ,, there was a coffee machine in room yet no instructions on how to use ,also the lovely view they promised was far from what we got ,, after checking out the following day feeling very unrested and really disappointed with our stay I called the hotel spoke to management, who said they was aware of the 2 single beds pushed together, said they would look at cleanliness etc , and offered a 25% refund which quite frankly was insulting to say they least , with that was told that they would speak to head office and get back to me still waiting, so all I will say is if you’re thinking of booking dnt"

"I've stayed here a few times and it's always been fine. The hotel is quiet, in a nice location, and not too far from major roads. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and the showers are hot. One note to the hotel staff: Please stop using mothballs, they're banned and cause cancer. And they don't smell good."

"The reservation was made by my employer. Upon arrival at the hotel I approached the reception to register. The receptionist asked for ID. This was provided. Unfortunatly the passposrt was out of date. Becasue of this my booking was not accepted. "
