First time staying here, chose for the location. Excellent customer service on arrival, communal bar area a lovely addition with a pool table. We were able to order food although it was quite late and the food came out well presented. Despite being a big hotel it was very quiet.

We were at radio 2 in the park in chelmsford ibis thurrock was best value from all hotels in area very comfortable and good value for money will stay again when in area

Its a great overnight stop. However the walk in bathroom was quite shabby and the floor very slippery as the whole floor floods when you take a shower. The room was basic with enough storage and the beds were very comfortable. Sound proofing from the motorway behind was fantastic could not hear it at all. Breakfast was awesome.

Rm 31 - no heating in bathroom. Shower minimum temp almost unbearably hot. 1 bedside light switch broken - light on all night. Main room heating worked well. No USB (Aor C) in the room. No Gluten / wheat free options available at breakfast. Dog friendly👍
