"The location is fantastic, right in the cathedral close with onsite parking & very easy access (walkable) to city sights. Lovely, helpful person on reception. However the basic room really is extremely basic, very shabby and old fashioned. You hear people in neighbouring rooms coughing & talking. Another venue for same price might be preferable."
"We had an amazing stay, the Old Vine is a beautiful historic building in central Winchester. The room was comfortable and immaculate, the bed was comfortable and the bedding and pillows were great, thebathroom was large and very clean. We had breakfast in our room which was delicious and hot and plentiful. All the staff were great and very attentive."

There is a nice pub in the groundfloor and there we drunk nice beer and enjoyed wonderful dinner.
