"An Absolute Paradise! From the moment we arrived, our experience was exceptional. The staff truly went above and beyond—especially Alvero, our butler. He met us at check-in, personally walked us around the grounds to show us all the resort’s amenities, and even arranged dinner reservations for our group of eight. Throughout our stay, Alvero regularly checked in to make sure everything was perfect and to see if we needed anything at all. Our room was spotless, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. Even though the resort is large, it had a peaceful and relaxing vibe. The surroundings were absolutely stunning. A special shoutout as well to Ismael at the adults-only swim-up bar. He was fantastic—friendly, entertaining, and always quick to serve your favorite drink with a smile! If I had one critique, it would be the quality of the food, which could definitely use some improvement. However, thanks to Alvero and Ismael, our trip was truly outstanding and unforgettable."

"Excellence El Carmen - Dominican Republic is a wonderful choice for an all-inclusive luxury vacation. It is nicely designed and organized so that you can be either active day and night, or alternatively, nice and quiet. The rooms are large and have beautiful balconies to enjoy. The beach is clean and easy to walk for several km in either direction. The food in the lunch and dinner restaurants is good, not great. The breakfast buffet is extensive with a huge variety available for you to enjoy. The Club pools are nice and quiet, while the main pool and beach are very active. We give a special shoutout to Jerson, bartending at the Club Pool. A major shoutout also goes to our guest services host Marleny. Marleny looked after anything that we needed during our stay, and made the vacation that much more enjoyable. She is an invaluable resource. This was our first experience at an Excellence property, and we look forward to many more in the future!"
