Hotel Lapad

"The hotel is situated directly on the Marina, excellent location giving easy access to all areas of Dubrovnik. It takes around 35 minutes to walk to the Old City, and around 15 minutes to walk to the main area where all the restaurants and bars are. The hotel itself is a lovely old building, with a newer add on restaurant and bar. The staff were really helpful giving us recommendations for trips and places to visit. We chose a superior marina view room which was on the third floor, whilst it was nice, the decor is a little tired and in need of some refreshing. The pool area is nice, towels provided and there is a quieter garden area with sunbeds too."

"The staff are wonderful and the location is a quite beautiful corner of the peninsular of Dubrovnik. That being said you can see the years in the hotel, area is beautiful but quite far from the town, if you like staying in a resort environment then this is the place otherwise it can start seeming like a hospital. The staff are just wonderful, they are the best thing about the hotel, always polite and they genuinely take pride in their work. Not sure the price is exactly worth it, there are other Valamar hotels or hotels in the area that are more expensive but if you are spending this much anyway then worth adding a bit more for somewhere thats a little more contemporary."

"An excellent location, easy for the bus to Dubrovnik and a short walk to Lapad along side the sea. The facilities are really good with a choice of swimming pools and a health club. The staff are brilliant , friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Multiple restaurants to choose from within the hotels at the location, wide range of options at reasonable prices, good value all round. Music at night. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Lovely hotel in a fantastic location with a rooftop swimming pool and great buffet breakfast. 15 minutes on the bus to Dubrovnik old town, 3 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Good value and friendly staff."

"We only stayed for one night. The best views of the Adriatic Sea and the Dubrovnik old town from our hotel balcony/terrace was incredible. This hotel is the perfect location to stay when in Dubrovnik. Breakfast buffet was not as good as I expected. Dinner was fantastic!"
