Didn't go down for breakfast so cannot feed back on that but a fabulous comfy stay overnight for an incredible price! Will definitely stay again and look into more hostels around the Country. "Lovely home in a quiet corner, the Thorpe cloud hills and stepping stones as close by. A great base for activities. The hostess was great, apologising for the poor mobile coverage. She stays closeby and offered to help in case of anything. It was hassle-free stay as the house was prepared with all we needed."

"Really beautiful property with a character. Parking available in front of property. Super clean and room was good size. No tea making in room but David is happy to provide at any time. Breakfast was freshly made and was delicious. Especially liked home made marmalade. Walking distance to a pub and an Indian restaurant. Walking trails nearby. Many Peak District attraction within easy driving distance . Overall a nice stay with super nice hosts. I would stay again. "

"This ‘hotel’ is still taking booking yet it is closed down and has been these last three months - avoid at all cost - we booked arrived to find it closed ended up at the Fenny Benton Hotel instead - very nice, good food, good hospitality, polite helpful staff "
