"Check in was not friendly and directions were unclear. Room was supposed to have a “large mural” and it did not. Room was not updated as the website said. All amenities were at the “sister hotel”. Even picking up our valet car was at the sister hotel. No accommodations for the closed street and having to move all out bags through the alley to get our car. Ice machine broken."

"The hotel is amazing! The location exceptional if you want to walk around at night and with the family! Plenty of restaurants at the hotel with different options!! I would recommend this hotel! Pool was great as well at the food there! Our ser verat the pool Raul was great! Next I am staying at the beach with my family I am staying here!"

"Very clean hotel and staff is always happy and ready to assist. Loved the atmosphere and how easy it was to check in and book with them. Their valet service is amazing and you can take/request beach towels with you to the beach. They also give you “welcome drinks” and that’s a voucher for one night. The only 2 things I disliked was the non window room. There was no air ventilation except for the AC which made the room humid if the mode was on fan. Due to no ventilation and combined humidity, my towels never got the chance to dry and my swimsuit started to smell bad after day 1. There’s also no microwave and I had no luck with their TV as it always said there was an error. There’s no kettle either so don’t bother bringing any type of tea bags with the thought of being able to drink it at night. You’ll have to wait till breakfast the next day and maybe bring a tea bag with you."

"I had high hopes for this hotel. It was horrific. I understand it’s on the beach and there is noise, but the walls are so thin and everyone is screaming at 1am. The hotel staff does nothing and they are the worst part. They do nothing. They sit there and act like they will help and then just go back on their phone. I will say the cleaning staff is top tier and they do extremely well cleaning rooms. I will never stay here again and will tell those that ask me to not as well."

"Great historic hotel on South Beach. The attributes that give this hotel 5 star are: Great location on the beach. Walking distance to Lincoln rd. And ocean drive and next to the bike and walking trail along the beach All areas of the hotel including our room in the Cabanas were exceptionally clean Pool side restaurant has amazing food Spanish restaurant in the lobby also serves great Spanish inspired dinners and provides indoor and outdoor seating My favorite spots are the two pools. One pool is an amazing 200 ft plus long and both are clean and well taken care of My five star rating also was influenced by the staff. They all especially the servers and bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly and professional I would highly recommend this hotel and as a matter of fact upon checking out we booked another stay 2 months from today"
