"Parking was tight but doable. We loved it all around, close to the beach, and food, very friendly, clean modern rooms, loved the cottage feel and felt very safe can't wait to come back with the whole family for a reunion and get away! Thank you!"

"I was really impressed with how clean the room was! I also really loved the property view! I got to see all kinds of water birds. There are really great places to eat very close by and on the same side of the highway. There is also a very lovely shopping area up a scenic road near by. There was no kind of refrigerator unit there so I used the ice machine and borrowed a cooler from my friend. I stayed in the jacuzzi tub room and am very happy to report the tub and the jets were clean. There were no stains nor burn marks and I was also happy that they chose to have bare floors over hotel carpet. The bedding was great, however the bed could have been a little more comfortable. Felt only a step up from a fold out couch mattress. I did sleep well on it, but after my third night there, I stayed a week, I was waking up a bit sore. It was a bit loud, to be expected because of the proximity to the highway, but I sleep through anything. I would stay again, though. The downs were not enough to out weigh the ups. There was an actual coffee maker in the room, too which brought me much joy. "

"I found the whole hotel very clean and well maintained. I know it’s an older structure, but they take good care. Pool area really pretty, cabana area comfortable with a water purification system for our water bottles and even BBQ’s and laundry for guest use. I highly recommend! "

"Esther pressure of the shower was terrible "

"The bed had an unpleasant smell, which made it seem like the pillows may not have been freshly cleaned or replaced. The pool was also unavailable during our stay, even though it was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel, and unfortunately there was no clear information on when it would be fixed. Overall, the experience didn’t quite meet expectations, so I would rate it 2 out of 5 stars."

"Details: Second time staying here, and it remains the best bang for the buck in the whole area. I love the motel-style layout—you can park right near your room, haul your bags up one short flight of stairs, and you're in. Our room was spacious with an amazing kitchenette. Nice touch: there's a heat lamp on a timer in the bathroom. Even though our room was right on the highway (and sounds usually bother me), I couldn't hear traffic at night. The beds were comfortable, and while I'm not a breakfast buffet person, my family loved it. Let me be clear: this is not a fancy place. There are other hotels in the area that are spotless, quieter, and more of a destination—but they'll cost you significantly more. This is a jumping-off point, a great stop on the way to the Bay Area with very easy highway access. The staff is professional and courteous. You'll see all kinds of travelers here—lots of families taking advantage of the good rates and extra space. If you need everything to feel pristine, this isn't the place for you. It has old charm, and while I don't like hotels to feel dirty, this place does have some scuff marks here and there. But the price makes it worth it. Save yourself some money and stay here—just don't expect a fancy resort. It has some wear to it, but it's clean and quiet and totally worth the value."
