"Yes it was very good"

"We stayed in a standard double room, which was spacious, very clean, with a super comfortable bed! I slept like a log! The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had a swim in the pool, which although small, was excellent for swimming lengths and was a nice temperature. We ate at the restaurant, which served pub grub and was very tasteful. So why not 5 stars? The toilet in the room was separate to the shower and bath, and also the sink. It would have been nice to have a little sink in the toilet, as in the night you had to feel around for 2 rooms! There was no room service at all. There was a page on the app but in the restaurant the server told us you'd have to order downstairs and take the food up yourself. Most concerning, the pool was unmanned. No one was in that area at all. We had to sign a waver form before using it, so don't use the pool on your own. There was a panic pull outside the sauna but if you had an accident or you needed help away from the pull cord, I'm not sure how long it would be before someone found you.Lastly, there is a small amount of parking on site but you need to phone in advance to book this at £21. Overall a lovely hotel and we would stay here again."

"Great staff and ideal dor the price. Only problem we had was someone came next to our door and slammed 2 doors at 2am and couldn't sleep for a while after. Other than that would recommend."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel next to the Thames after attending a lovely family wedding. Great breakfast on the Terrace on a lovely Sunday morning followed by a relaxing walk by the Thames. Highly recommended. "

"How do you expect business people to use your facility ,have breakfast after 7.30 and still get into Reading at a sensible time? The stairs are dangerous point blank Adding padding to low ceiling beams whilst helpful doesn’t stop you hitting your head despite no signs anywhere. The hallways are impossible to move suitcases through them.The parking is cramped and difficult to reverse out off. Oh and locking doors is never a good fire precaution for people with impairments. Safe to say never again"
