"Breakfast needs a re think. 15 mins to get a fried egg is not really acceptable and the choice of items limited. Hot food was not particularly hot."

"What a delightful stay in this ancient inn. All the staff we encountered were friendly & helpful and seemed genuinely pleased to look after us. Our bedroom was bijou but very well thought out with switches in the right place and plenty of sockets. A free welcome drink at bar was greatly appreciated. Dinner was tasty and breakfast was great, freshly cooked to order. We would most definitely stay here again, although I imagine it might be quite noisy on a summer’s evening."

"Lots of free parking. Great location for local shops and easy access to town center. Fantastic staff, all very friendly and helpful, even sorted a taxi for us at short notice. Room clean and comfortable. Fridge, microwave, crockery and cutlery, hairdryer all in room. "

"Great bar restaurant downstairs. I was staying alone but was made to feel very welcome and looked after by the staff. For the price, I thought the room was great. Incredible location only 10 minute walk from the station. And the continental breakfast in the morning was perfect. Can’t really complain at all. Thank you guys it was brilliant. "
