"Very cool to be near so many things we wanted to do. Very small room but we expected that being downtown NYC. Could have used a refrigerator and some drawers or a cabinet in the bathroom. Otherwise we are happy to have stayed there. Will stay again planning ahead knowing the short-comings."

"Staff wonderful and super helpful highlights to Debbie at the front desk. Minor issues as elevator system change underway, in-room maintenance : faucet, clogged sink and shower as well as broken toilet flush could be anticipated with more careful maintenance program! In general my stay was worthwhile l!"

"This was the third time we stayed at the Grove. Check in was painless, staff at check in were very nice and helpful. The amenities are very nice for things to keep the family busy. Obviously as anywhere you vacation the price of reserving pool chairs or cabanas or food and drinks are higher than you would pay normally but that comes with the experience. The biggest issue for us was the speed of service and the elevators were the slowest I can remember experiencing anywhere we have vacationed. All staff interactions were good. The price for parking was ridiculous."

"Beautiful location and lobby, thst where it stops.. everything in our room was broken. No coffee, no water, no snacks, when asked what we could do for water when the front desk ran out the man at the front ended got visibly angry and said “ you’ll need to fend for yourself” and walked away. For the price tag, guest experience is shockingly poor. Doors, shower and AC were broken in our suite. We saved up an entire year for this, so disappointed."

"Terrible experience at Hyatt Grand Central. The room was extremely dusty and not properly cleaned. We found hair in the shower, sink, on the floor, and even on the bed sheets. I went to the front desk to report the issue, and I was told that someone would come to clean the room, but no one ever showed up and nothing was done. It was very disappointing, especially for a hotel of this caliber. The room, and particularly the bathroom, is in desperate need of renovation. Overall, the cleanliness and condition of the property were unacceptable. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again."
