"This is a really nice hotel the rooms were basic but clean. The roof top bar gave this an extra something but bar far the best thing about this hotel was the staff, they went the extra mile to make sure your stay was comefortable, they greeted me by name by the end of the first day. It felt like a lovely family. If I am in Moshi again I will definitely stay here again! "

"The people that work at Stella Maris are wonderful and really set this place apart from other options. I stayed here for 6 nights around a Kilimanjaro trek and it was a very comfortable and warm stay. The staff are friendly and caring and it very quickly felt like my home away from home. Check in could have been smoother there was a little confusion so it took longer which we wanted to start our game drive and had a short delay. "The people that work at this hotel deserve 10 stars! Professional and very accommodating in every way imaginable. They make the property what it is. The restaurant food is delicious but a bit pricey for the area. If you’re staying in Moshi or intending to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, I definitely recommend staying here. Our favorite part about this hotel were the workers & the food! "
