"Fabulous stay"

"A good choice if you're travelling by train, as it's within easy walking distance of the station. The breakfast buffet was okay, but the selection was quite limited compared to other hotels we've stayed at in Japan."

"The breakfast buffet had lots of options - I especially enjoyed the fresh fruit, bacon and eggs. The room was spotless and the shower was incredible after a long day - the pressure felt like a massage. The hotel lobby is beautiful and features wood and wood carvings from the local area. The onsen was also a wonderful treat at the end of the day, although, sadly, the outside area was closed during our stay. "

"Amazingly located, striking architecture, friendly and accommodating staff. The quality of the amenities and the quality of service & small touches is very good. Website does not work properly and is outdated as mentioned a free early morning walking tour but staff did not know anything about this so assume it does not run any longer. The free bar is such a nice touch, though I wonder if the hotel should actually charge or somehow limit number of drinks per guest. Would definitely stay again! "

"Brilliant stay. Location great if you’re taking or ending the Tsumago Magome walk. Walkable to train station. 7-11 nearby. Room ok in size as compared to Tokyo. Breakfast excellent local Food. Constant supply of tea/coffee n free soup I’m the afternoon. Highly recommend. "
