"The townhome was nice. Very clean and the reception desk & staff were extremely helpful & very timely when we called. Spacious home, heated floors very cozy. The shuttle service was good however being that it’s a little out of the city it would be more convenient to have a rental car. Wonderful & relaxing family holiday. "Kira Kira is located downhill of the Hirafu Welcome Centre. Transportation is provided during arrival and departure to and from the Welcome Centre. I am not too sure if the transportation can be arranged during they stay as I did not try this. The room was spacious and well suited my needs. It was comfortable. However, the water pressure and termperature for the shower can be much improved. The temperature was not enough to have a good soak in the tub. There was a combi washer dryer with...

"You cannot ask better view and better price in Toyako area. Quiet, cozy, lake Toya and Mt. Yotei view from your room. Room is big, like a suite. Well maintained facilities, generous amenities. No problem to communicate in English, If you have a car, this is the best choice. Last fall, I stayed here and when I planned to come this area again I didn’t even check other hotel. "First time staying at the Setsumon and it by far has exceeded any accommodation I have stayed in at a ski resort. The apartment was very modern, spacious, comfortable bed and delightful staff. "This place is amazing. Its right next to the center of the Hirafu town where all the action (food) and transportation is. Lawson also right next door. Rooms are small but smartly designed, I felt more comfortable here than in many other larger hotel rooms. Staff was friendly and wanting to go above and beyond to help me get out of a jam when there were no taxis in town."

"A bit outside of the center of Grand Hirafu village but easily walkable. You have to go uphill a bit to get to the resort. The property itself is beautiful. Ideal for 6 or 7 guests (3 couples). Full kitchen but without salt/oil/spices so brine no your own if you plan to cook. Tsubara Tsubara right next door if you want amazing Japanese curry. Staff drive us back to the Chitose bus pickup on checkout. Would stay again if traveling with a small group. "

"Communication with Banff was very good. Room was everything I could have expected, having our own bathroom and bath was a bonus. My only qualm is that the beds were a bit old and that the couch in the room just took up a lot of space when trying to sort out our massive ski bags… overall very happy with the stay!"
