"Honestly, the best part of the stay is the location in relation to everything around it like the boardwalk, beach and venues like Hard Rock and Ocean for events. The price reflects the conditions and age of the building, rooms and public spaces. If they eventually refurbish the property, I expect room prices would triple or quadruple. But for now, if you value location and price --- this is the place for you. You get what you pay for... so only book if you are comfortable with elevators that occasionally skip a beat and drop a floor, endless smells of years gone by, and a 1970's roadside motel feel to the room."

"As a world traveler and platinum member of Expedia for many years in a row this was by far one of the worst stays of my entire life. Not only was it inconvenient to check-in due to construction, the bar next door is connected on multiple floors and is noisy and smells terrible. The room itself does not feature anything modern and the furniture looks flimsy and cheap. Furthermore the shower and bathroom were very antiquated. Lastly even for just a 1 night stay the hotel staff rudely insisted on a $250 security deposit which seemed excessive because it was more than my reservation itself. And if that wasn’t bad enough there is no complimentary water (costs $4), nothing is stocked in the kitchenette and I was charged $24.47 mysteriously upon checkout even though I didn’t touch anything. "

I have a heart arrhythmia and was uncomfortable standing that long no accommodation for this time of issue and it wouldn’t have been fair to other people trying to check in to try and jump line. Check-in terminal for was not functioning at time."

"I absolutely love Harris resort and Casino, the rooms are very spacious, the beds are always comfortable and the bathrooms are very spacious. As soon as you check in at the front desk, the staff is always wonderful, I’ve always also gotten upgrades, which is always a great treat and surprise… "
