"We really loved our experience at Kato Waidi! The staff were so kind and helpful, the food was delicious, and the location was both peaceful (it’s right on the river!), as well as interesting (it’s right beside a Nubian craft market). Our only challenge was that the AC had a hard time cooling our room, but it was also 117 degrees so I think any AC would have struggled :)"

"Amazing location with fabulous views of Philae temple. Staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. In fact, we were the only guests that night so they offered us a room from an adjoining property that had air conditioning since most rooms only have fans. Views from the room overlooking the lake were gorgeous. The breakfast was wonderful with generous portions of delicious Nubian dishes.
