This was such a cute stay! I stayed for 2 nights and it felt so quaint and charming, made me feel like I was in Greece! I was nervous about figuring out how to get to the hotel on the island, but the hotel staff was kind enough to arrange a ride and water taxi for me. The spa services were also excellent! Was so relaxing and I highly recommend. The food was also delicious. The staff are so attentive to you, and treat you like royalty!

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the quiet, tranquil location. The staff and service was outstanding, everyone was eager to help. The spa facility was exceptional, particularly Zeinab provided an amazing and relaxing experience. The rooms are large and we had a cold jacuzzi which was very nice in the hot weather. The buffet breakfast was delicious.

Most amazing breakfast and location next to Philea temple and boat ride to hotel saved an extra cost because you are on the Nile so why pay for excursion then just boat a few minutes to the temple a place like this in America would be $400 a night way so safe go and relax

Idyllic place

Am amazing property on an island which overlooks Philae temple. The food at the restaurant was very good (have the Nile perch) and the spa is gorgeous!

Lovely and unique hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was nice, but they could speed things up by having some coffee in pots already made. Each cup is made individually and slowly. The dinner was just so so. The spa was great. People should be aware they do not serve alcohol, even though is a terrific location for a drink.

Best place to stay in Aswan!

We stayed here before going to Abu Simbel and afterwards in the cruise to Luxor. Fantastic hotel with unique ambience. Highly recommended!

While a little tricky to get to, especially at night, this property is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is superb in every way. The breakfast was delicious. This hotel is a gem - I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Overall good.

The boat ride was always fun and the food was good. Service was also good. The pick up services are a little pricy considering the cost of living there, but was more professional.

Unique and dramatic hotel on island of granite boulders overlooking the Philae Temple. Lovely warm rooms. Great food and spectacular views from the terrace. Downside is that everywhere is a steep climb or series of stairs. Not for the mobility impaired or elderly. If you’re young and active, a perfect spot.

This is an amazing location - the hotel is built on a series of levels high on a rock outcrop that overlooks the ancient Egyptian Philae Temple with stunning 360° views. The rooms are each individually designed, all have pools or spas, and the staff are wonderful. You can only reach the hotel by boat so it’s not the place for busy executives (although WiFi is very good.) there’s the BenBen meditation rock and lots to think about.

THE place to stay if you're heading to Aswan

One of our favourite hotels on our recent visit to Egypt. Merna checked us in and showed us around the resort and her warmth and accommodating nature made us feel very welcome. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable - the views of the water are spectacular. We did have one experience in the restaurant/bar area where the manager asked why I was 'arrogant' for simply stating we needed to leave by a certain time for a spa appointment. This was extremely rude and made us feel uncomfortable on our last afternoon at the resort - apart from his attitude - everything else was amazing.

BenBen lived up to the expectation. The hotel is absolutely fantastic, the rooms are wonderful, all have a personal jacuzzi/pool. Very comfortable bed and very clean. The staff are all wonderful, from reception to cleaning staff and all at the restaurant. They truly make your trip fantastic. The only point of improvement would be for the kitchen: waiters can get orders wrong sometimes. And need to make bread fresh daily, we had day old bread the entire trip unfortunately. Overall an amazing experience, so relaxing and peaceful. Beautiful resort in a superb setting. Will definitely try to go back in the future. Highly recommended for couples, solo, friends getaway. :)

Beautifully situated and designed hotel. Unlike many alternatives, it is in a distance from Aswan city, creating a very peaceful environment. Also, it is close to the Philae temple complex. If arranged with the hotel, the boat ride there and back is expensive (currently 30 dollars), but is simpler and more flexible than from the main dock (e.g. for checking out the original location of the temples, birdwatching). The only negative we fould was the water temperature of the jacuzzi - probably not an issue in summer, but felt a bit chilly in January. Finally, two suggestions for management: - Play local music in the restaurant, while jazz was better, pop songs are really not a good fit for the property. - Sell the beautiful traditional pottery used in the restaurant as a side business. We tried to purchase coffee cups and a pitcher, but unfortunately it was not possible.
