"Wow what a wonderful stay we have just enjoyed at Oakwood! It started with a very warm welcome from Tom who showed us everything we needed for our stay. He was also able to recommend some places to eat which were only a couple of minutes walk away. There was secure parking for our car at the rear of the property. Our room was beautifully clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. The en-suite was also lovely and clean and the shower was really powerful. Breakfast was absolutely delicious - a full English with a choice of how we’d like our eggs, juices, tea, coffee, cereal and some delicious jam! The staff that greeted us at breakfast were lovely and welcoming and made us feel at home. It’s only about 15 minutes away from Heathrow and absolutely perfect if you need somewhere to stay on your way to or from the airport. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast - we will definitely be using it again!"

"What an exceptional hotel, from cleaners to Hotel Manager. Such a friendly and welcoming environment. Hotel extremely clean, Easy parking, regular bus services (every 7-9 minuets to Uxbridge) (1 hour 10 minuets to central London by underground). I highly recommend The Red Lion Hotel "

"The stay is in a good area close to Uxbridge town centre. Would highly recommend this place when looking for a budget place to stay. What’s outstanding is a functional working smart tv including YouTube and Netflix was a great plus with our stay. Staff lady was helpful and easy to check in and out. Would definitely recommend coming back in. Not to mention parking is free. What could be better if the bed was cleaner and the mattress more soft. "

"Parking is available on site, but the hotel is also right next to the train/tube station. Check in was quick and easy with friendly pleasant staff. Room was clean and tidy, but is looking a bit dated, with some general maintenance issues that need addressing, but that didn’t affect my stay. Breakfast is cooked fresh to order and there is a continental buffet, which was all nice. There is a bar and restaurant on site, but I didn’t use it on this occasion as I had to go out. All in all, a great hotel, will definitely stay again."
