Top Dawlish Warren Hotel Reviews

Abbey Sands Hotel
8/10 Good
"The hotel is in a good location. We had two rooms for one night. One was very modern, with a modern bathroom. The other was larger but a little more tired. Both were good value! There was ample parking within the hotels 3 carparks. The breakfast was fine but with slightly limited choice. The hotel was dog friendly which was great - and there was a dog friendly area in there restaurant. The staff were all friendly. We would definitely stay here again."

Courtyard by Marriott Exeter Sandy Park

"An excellent facility; we really enjoyed our stay. But my wife would have liked some sort of place, with a mirror, where she could have applied her makeup."

"There was an issue with the radiator in my room. Staff were very helpful they offered me a heater or to change room. I opted to change room and they moved my belongings for me whilst I was out. It was seamless. The bar staff were very friendly and service was quick. Overall I enjoyed the comfort and friendliness of everyone. A very pleasant weekend despite storm Austin."

Mercure Exeter Southgate Hotel
8/10 Good
"I booked through Expedia which meant the hotel didn't get the information to turn the room into a twin. So we had to put up with that for a night. We weren't massively impressed by that, nor by being tossed 2 free drinks card - undoubtedly to make us feel better about the unresolvable situation - which we didn't use because I find this people management system quite insulting. However, it was rectified in the morning by housekeeping. Housekeeping kept the tea and coffee well stocked and there was a fridge with cold drinks in our room. Breakfast was great. Nice atmosphere. There is a bit of outside noise that you could hear as well as corridor noise on floor 3. Rooms were being upgraded and they are lovely, but there is some noise from that if you were planning on sleeping past 9am. Curtains are blackout, though if the slightest bit of light affects you, make sure you make the curtains and walls meet."

The Grand Hotel
8/10 Good
"We are regular visitors to the Grand, and after a dip around a year ago, are pleased to say the breakfasts are back as good as ever. Our room had been recently decorated and with the exception of loose shelf in the bathroom was in a great condition."
