Hotels near Dania Beach Fishing Pier

"Pros: Staff and management were incredible. Very kind, helpful, accommodating! The location was great for beach lovers. The restaurant waitress was beyond busy but she always had a smile. Cons: Poor Value for the costs!!! We arrived early and were told the room was ready (yeah) but then was told it would cost $75 extra! While the facility was recently renovated, the rooms have a VERY strong odor of sewage or mildew. We were moved to a room next to a small pool with deck but the pool was closed each day and we even had to leave the loungers because the staff was training in the pool. The window faced the street and since it’s located close to a fire station, we heard loud sirens all night-as well as cars honking, motorcycles, loud music from the street. If you’re a light sleeper-request a room away from the front. The cost for valet was $60 per night so be prepared! If you’re attending Tortuga, beware! It only makes sense to stay here if you have VIP. The main entrance is about a mile away and you have to walk or pay for a golf cart. The food and drinks were OUTRAGEOUSLY priced. $22 for a coffee and muffin; $70 for two basic bar drinks. You’re better off going a few blocks down to Shorely. The staff get an A +, the value for the cost gets an F although it was Tortuga weekend so I’m sure they just want to make $$. I get it but still feel totally ripped off for what we got. "

"What an unforgettable experience. The property is submersed in the heart of Hollywood beach. Live music and lots of walking just outside your doorstep "

"The staff were beyond very helpful, the room had lots of room, breakfast was included and maintained. I was impressed with this hotel. The only issue I had was the shuttle. Most shuttles you wait in the lobby. Apparently you have to wait outside not much space outside in the front. I booked a shuttle then i asked the front desk and there I was told you have to go outside after waiting and see no word on the shuttle. The front desk said they called the shuttle and they will pick us up as it go to two of their hotels. The shuttles comes I tell him were going to airport, he tells me that he cant take us as he is on a schedule. He almost put us on but keep complaining about schedule. I tell him it's ok. I booked a Uber. Then I see the shuttle at the other hotel. The driver is outside the shuttle talking with another man, no one in shuttle and he didn't seem as in a rush. This got me frustrated as he kept saying he's a schedule and acting that he can't take us to the airport. The front desk specially called him as he was nearby and he clearly didn't have any passengers"
