"I don't usually review properties, but in this case I feel it's my duty to share what I experienced.
Check in took 1 hour as there's no check in desk, but you're supposed to contact an "agent" (some guy called Steven Gunawan) who asks you to deposit 500 ribu to his bank account in order to guide you through a treasure hunt to collect the keys of the room.
Once we got the keys, the water in the shower was cold (you need to switch on something, but of course you have to figure it out yourself),...
"Genuinely horrible experience. We used the get directions link on the app. Took us to the middle of the Jakarta slums with roads barely big enough for our taxi. Tried communicating with the hotel through the app, what’s app, and the number they provided for contact, no response. "This property is required better maintenance. For example, the drain in the shower is slowed and shallow, flooded the whole bathroom. At another hotel where we stayed last year had similar issued. I guess the drain design and maintenance is not up to par and required serious corrections to mitigate this issue."
"Great location, just 1min walk to Emporium Mall. Rooms look fairly newly furnished, spacious, clean n good housekeeping.
The breakfast has a wide range of delicipus hot Indo foods (the widest for any Holiday Inn Express i have stayed). "
