Very good stay in Jakarta

Very good quality for the hotell. We had bestifull view from our room. The room had a good size. Cleaning of the room was excellent. Friendly staff. Breakfast was ok.

Can housekeeper clean your room with permission?

Had bad experience with this hotel for first time. Just head down for breakfast, less than hour, there is a housekeeper clean my room. What surprised me, I did not left door tag to ask housekeeper to clean my room. The housekeeper claim he knock and follow company policy. I feel not safe, what if I’m sleeping, in shower, the housekeeper could just open the door? I feel this is not right and I don’t feel safe. I have left my personal belonging left in room on the table, and housekeeper could just open your room door without any permission given.

The location is excellent, close to everything including the Airport and connected to Emporium Mall. The room is spacious and clean. The staff was friendly especially to Mr Sigit Wiantoro and his team for providing a great customer experience. The lobby is on the 10th floor and not connected to the taxi drop off. I found it rather inconvenient if you have large suitcases and small children.

The stay was decent and the service staff are all friendly polite. The room is clean but was able to see stain on chairs and curtain. The lacking part is the TV where there are only few channels available where I’ve to turn in early every night as the channel is just too boring. The hotel is located right above the shopping mall. The mall is well equipped with all the amenities and you can find alot familiar SG brand in the mall.

Being connected to a mall is a plus point for me since it’s convenient if I need something urgently. The downside for me is only a slow check in process and how chaotic the breakfast time could be, feels that there wasn’t enough staff on the ground during the breakfast time. Other than that all good for me.

Not too pleased with my recent stay!

The location is great if u need to be in a Mall but thats about it. On my recent stay, we experienced problems around the upkeep of maintenance & allergen safety. 1. The bed types are very limited, only SMALL DOUBLE or twin. It is really hard to sleep with a small toddler in a small double bed. It needs to be at least a normal sized double bed, not a smaller version of double bed. 2. Got scratched skin / surface damage tear across the right side of my face due to the sharp edge of shower head. I've shown the damage / mark to the receptionist on the same day. Manager on Duty is currently dealing with it after confirming the sharp edge was present. It has been almost 3 weeks & still havent received any confirmed action to solve this. Management need to speed up their efficiency. Not pleased so far, still being kept waiting. Pls get better at respecting your customer time. 3. Peanuts butter need to be closely monitor as it's dangerous for people with severe nut allergy. At times I understand it's difficult to police this but it's a matter of life & death for some people therefore restaurant staff need to be educated more, to take swift action when peanut butter had contaminated other items /knives nearby. It happened many days during my 9 days stay where I had to alert the staff to remove the contaminated knives around peanut butter jar.

Great location, just 1min walk to Emporium Mall. Rooms look fairly newly furnished, spacious, clean n good housekeeping. The breakfast has a wide range of delicipus hot Indo foods (the widest for any Holiday Inn Express i have stayed).

Staffs were great and were multilingual. Great courtesy provided throughout. Could do with more on deck staffing as breakfast can be very crowded. Hats off to the staff for always being so kind and courteous. Overall stay was comfortable. Lift availability can alter sides but this is not an issue.
