The staff so really helpful and accommodating, the the bell hops at the main entrance, the reception staff (really helpful) to the waiting staff in the restaurant - they all made sure you were looked after and were very attentive to what ever you needed. Special mention to the little Pizzeria place down the bottom as you go down the escalators… life saver when the restaurant is closed and love the burgers (must try).

The staff and the facilities were good. The beach was full of garbage from the ocean every day and they didn’t clean it. Was quite disgusting and for a 5 star hotel was very disappointed in that regard. No beach chairs or umbrellas so I guess they assume everyone wants to sit by or swim in a pool

Although a little dated, the property had one of the most lovely Christmas displays we have seen in our travels in Vietnam. The hotel management were very attentive to us and did their best to ensure our stay was enjoyable. It’s situated right on the beach, which would be great in warmer weather. The town is about 15 mins drive away and cost about 100,000 dong one way.

The staff were lovely. Our room was upgraded when we arrived. Which was nice. However, I had booked an Oceanview and with the room upgrade there was a glimpse of the ocean if you stood on tip toe on the balcony. The resort is definitely not 5 star more like a good 3 star. They advertise shops, cinema etc. They are closed down. Half the resort is closed down. Its like a ghost town. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable and breakfast buffet was really good. I was really disappointed that the shuttle service was very limited and you had to book it and give 2 hrs notice. It didn't operate until 230pm which was useless. You have to get a taxi/grab anytime you leave the resort. Its the strangest place we have ever stayed. It felt weird, half of it closed and unmaintained. It would have been amazing in its day.

We had the most beautiful stay at The Pearl Hoi An and honestly couldn’t fault the experience. The resort itself is stunning — the rooms are modern, bright, spotless and feel so fresh and new. The pool area is incredible, the beachfront location is gorgeous, and there’s even a lovely little strip of eateries just a short walk outside the resort which was super convenient. The food throughout our stay was consistently amazing — from daily breakfast to high tea and lunch, everything was delicious. Cocktails were a little on the lighter side, but the beer was cold and perfect, so no complaints there! What truly made our stay unforgettable though was the staff. Every single person we encountered — from reception to security to the drivers — were so kind and helpful, but a special mention has to go to Tracy N, Amy V and especially Chau Chao. Chau Chao went above and beyond for us every single day, helping organise transport, activities and anything we needed. One day she even stayed back after her shift just to assist us when we were returning from Old Town — such a genuinely beautiful and caring person. We are so incredibly grateful. The only small downside was that some of the shops and restaurants within the resort appeared to be closed, but it didn’t take away from our experience at all. We truly hope they reopen in the future. Overall, such a stunning resort with exceptional service — we would absolutely return!
