"This really is not a three-star hotel. We stayed here many years ago, and it was good. One elevator was broken and repairs brought dirt and dust all over the place. "

"The property is close to metro station and you can easily get transport to tourist places. But that's the only perks of this place. The rooms are super small and the cleanliness is just for the sake. The staff is helpful (the hotel cleaning staff) but the staff at reception is as much rude and unprofessional. If your only aim is to doze off and freshen up then this is fine."

"The rooms and showers were very clean and free of bugs and mosquitos. The staff very friendly courtesy.
The pillows should be washed or changed before they turn black!!! "

"I would recommend for couples or solo travel.
Yes the room is a bit basic but for central Mumbai you could not get cleaner, quieter or safer.
Short walk to Mumbai central train station and taxis always outside at any time, literally.
Staff were outstanding - always available and more than happy to help. Really friendly people.
There is a seating area out the front which is great to get out of the room for a while - completely safe and nobody approaches you from the street.
If you want luxury...

"I arrived and the manager couldnt find my booking. He was rude and aggressive and demanded that I call hotels.com even though i had already paid.
He eventually realised he had made a mistake and found my booking, but didnt offer any sort of apology.
The room was a street view with zero sound-proofing which meant the honking was relentless. It was also dirty, the bed frame seemed as though it hadnt been cleaned in weeks."

"Worst hotel I have ever been to! They give us a stinking room. In the next room construction was going on and there were drill noises. Then when we asked them to change the room, they refused to do so. We had to find another hotel for our stay and we left the hotel "

"This hôtel is not comfy.
We booked for 3 rooms. But the room are so tiny that we forced them to open an other room. Whithout Windows so you feel like suffocatinng. Same for the toilets.
The hygiène is not there.
And most important the area is awful. "

"The hotel behind Saifee Hospital. A side entrance a bit difficult to locate. No elevators..one has to climb 2sets of stairs/2x21=42 straight steps!!! Few rooms smelled high humidity.. the whole inside walls was tiled with what looks like rcream bricks and outline done with green marble. Positive:
Great location near shops, train station, walkable to Central Mumbai area, good big bed deluxe big room, clean.
Negative:
They don't provide toilet paper ! noisy employees all night in the corridor...

"Booked on-line easy check in, room clean. Bathroom was pretty clean. Great wifi.helpful staff.Except the the bed linen it didn't feel clean. Cushions had lots of blood like stains which you could see through the covers. I used my own blanket and used a Tshirts over the Cushions. When i complained they didn't think it was a big deal..as im from the uk my expectations of cleanliness was very high compared to there's.

"Good location for exploring South Mumbai. Even though shower & toilet facilities are separate, they are clean with good water pressure in showers & hot water. Rooms are spacious and have tv. There is a cook who makes a good cup of chai. WiFi needs a new code every day and does not always work."

"Great location, excellent staff & service @ Ness , inventive cocktails!
Amazing to see the sunset from the hotel over Marine drive.
We had a very early check out 01.00 , missed there amazing breakfast, would have appreciated a complementary airport shuttle, also since it was our 3rd stay at a Trident hotel this year."
"Terrible experience. The mattress provided by the hotel staff was infested with roaches, which was absolutely unacceptable. The elevator button for the 8th floor was not functioning, forcing us to go to the 9th floor and carry our heavy luggage down the staircase every single time. Despite our struggles, no staff member offered any assistance. Additionally, there were no bathmats in the washroom, and when we asked, the staff suggested using towels as a substitute, which was highly unprofessional. Overall, it was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel, and I would never recommend this place to anyone."
