"Culloden House Hotel is an experience steeped in history and warmth. From the moment we arrived, the staff were beyond exceptional. Genuinely kind, attentive, and deeply knowledgeable about the property and its past. Their hospitality alone makes this hotel unforgettable.
The history is what truly sets Culloden House apart. The rooms themselves are visually luxurious, staying here feels like stepping back into the 17th and 18th centuries. Knowing who once walked these halls, the conversations that must have taken place, and the pivotal moments tied to this house adds a sense of magic you simply can’t replicate in a modern hotel.
High tea was absolutely lovely, a true highlight, and breakfast was delicious, thoughtfully prepared and enjoyed in a setting that feels timeless. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, perfect for wandering and taking in the atmosphere of the Highlands.
Culloden House isn’t about flashy décor; it’s about soul, history, and impeccable service. If you appreciate character, storytelling, and being immersed in a place with deep historical significance, this hotel is truly special."
"Lovely stay here. Artended a party night and stayed iver. Comfy bed, lovely clean room and amazing breakfast in the morning.
The only negative was the shower which didnt stay warm, everything else was lovely! "
"Better cleaning service or at least emptying the trash can every day, telling people that are staying in the upper floors to be quiet especially at night, cause it’s really annoying and disturbing when you can’t sleep cause the guest staying upstairs are running around all night. "
