"Great location, 3 blocks from train and very close to the royal mile. They had a very good breakfast and elevator for luggage. We had our shower chord become detached last morning but they gave us free breakfast due to that. A little loud if you leave the window open as the rooms get hot. There was a homeless couple arguing at 6am in the alley so that was a bit annoying but part of being close."

We had asked for an early check in months prior, and were told they would do everything to accommodate us. We arrived at 8:00am and weren’t given our room until 2:30. Checkout isn’t until 11, so expected 12 the latest. We were not given a time window and basically ignored in the beautiful lobby."
