"Gorgeous, immaculate, luxurious. I’d give this stay more stars if I could. The staff caters to your every whim, the property is spotless, they have a free roaming peacock, cat and 3 highland cows. Idyllic. Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in hands down. Worth the splurge. "

"The staff were fantastic on our arrival (Robert and Ryan); they helped with the bags and guided us through the parking process. The room was exactly as advertised and the location is great. "

"A gem of a property in a great location, right by Greyfriars Bobby and with perfect views of the castle. Really beautifully decorated, superbly clean and well equipped. Great communication from property managers too on arrival. Highly recommend and we will be back "

"Chose this hotel for location to city centre and Arthur’s Seat and for being dog friendly. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful as well as being very accommodating to our dog. Perfect choice 😁"
"Staff very helpful and efficient. Room was clean and ideal. Only doing an overnight stay so didn’t use any amenities. Mini bar was well stocked and fairly reasonable. Breakfast was good. Nice hotel."
"This is the best hotel and experience i have stayed at we couldn't of asked for more. I arranged with Emma the manager to help me plan a proposal during our stay and she could not of been more helpful, along with all the other staff who were so kind to us on the day. The hotel and room itself were absolutely stunning and immediately gave you the wow feeling when walking in, its something both of us will never forget! I cannot thank everyone at The Scott for there help and kindness during our stay, we are already looking to come back next year as i dont think we could come to Edinburgh and not stay here again! It is levels above the standard of hotels you get in the city and i cant recommend it enough - Thank you"
"The property was very beautiful and this was a great home base for our week in Edinburgh. It was a bit away from the city center so we did end up taking buses and taxis more than expected. Traffic in front of the house gets quite busy around lunchtime and supper. While housekeeping provided a steady supply of tea packets and granola bars, we did have to venture out for food. I didn’t appreciate the cafe the guest house recommends but thankfully there were a lot of other options within walking distance. Guest house is beautiful and staff provided a very handy guestbook to ensure all questions are answered. "
