"Loved the pool and area on the roof! My only complaint is the nosey traffic, which can't be helped, but nice to be aware of that. Also, it says oceanfront but there is a busy street, the main one... the ocean is there, but its kinda dirty down on that part and not much beach area. The staff outside letting you in and out are very nice, polite and helpful. I felt safe inside the property as a solo woman traveler, but I wanted to be able to walk on the beach at night from my room. I just couldn't...

"Stayed In great room with plunge pool. Very good services...all inclusive. Would have rated it excellent except for after leaving great beach and heading to room on 4th floor..there was this very loud hammering right over the our room. I asked staff member what was that LOUD banging...it was 5 pm and she said it they should be quitting now. The hammering still going on at 6pm I called concierge..he said one moment and hung up. At 7 pm with it still hammering I called a 2nd time to, got no help. The loud hammering continued until after 8 pm! Next day it started again at 12 pm until 2:30 pm. They never explained or apologized in any w ay, they acted callous about it and ignored my concerns. To come back from beach for a relaxing evening to this loud hammering over room was unbelievable and for it to last thru evening until 8:30! Their response was shocking. That is a blight on SECRETS. Should refund that night, it was very stressful and ruined the night."
