"We didn’t eat at the hotel, so we cannot review that. But the convenience of the hotel was fantastic for our short stay. The parking on site was excellent, but do not forget to register. The staff were helpful and friendly. We stayed in one of the coach houses and it is in need of redecoration. A minor point in our fantastic stay."

"The owners of Meadow Rise were welcoming and delightful, their home, our room and view were all lovely. Every morning, they cooked a hot meal for all of us guests in additional to a continental breakfast and always helped us plan our day. We enjoyed getting to know them a little, but they gave us plenty of space to do our own thing, such as sit out front and enjoy appetizers in the evening or watch a little TV downstairs. We hope to see them again someday -"

"Very Basic breakfast included but was ok. Expensive upgrade to full English ! Walls on room were very marked and interesting items left in the drawers !! Reception isn’t manned and no one answered the phone or bell when we rang during an emergency which isn’t great ! Shame as location is perfect !"

"I could not have dreamed up a better place to stay during my weekend getaway in the Cotswolds. I came in on the bus and it was super easy to find. I was very early and my room wasn’t quite ready but they let me leave my bags. The property is an absolute dream (the animals!!) and the house is gorgeous, clean and well appointed. It is a good 15 minute walk to the centre of BotW but it’s a lovely little walk through the outskirts of town and there are a million trails to explore nearby (I walked to the Slaughters and Stow on the Wold). Cannot recommend this place enough if you’re in the area!"

"Fantastic stay at the Lansdowne. We were here on a girls trip and the Oakey cottage was a perfect home base! Easy parking right in front, 5 minute leisurely walk from shops and restaurants was amazing. Breakfast every morning was fantastic and the manager was always there kind and cheery greeting us in the morning which we enjoyed. We had a fantastic time and will definitely return in the future! "
