"Very friendly, excellent food."

"The staff were warm and inviting, especially the proprietor Simon. The room was tidy and clean. The best was the 14th Century building with a carriageway entrance for a front door and nary a straight line or level floor board to be found. This is a rare gem. And, strange for such an old building, the best shower in all of Cornwall (hot and high pressure). I got to sample the new Indian cuisine that could soon be available at the hotel. I hope so. It’s excellent!"

The food in the bistro was excellent and very good value. It was an excellent choice to use as a base for exploring the coastline. "Absolutely loved our stay in St Ives. Green Apple b&b exceeded all expectations and we will definitely be back. Adrian is a truly wonderful host who made us feel comfortable at all times and nothing was too much trouble. He was always available when we needed him and extremely pleasant to talk to. He is very clued up about the area, this helped us a lot. We also aren't the type of family who would normally eat continental breakfast as we prefer a full english, but it was so lovely! "I can't recommend Lugo Rock enough. Katie has turned it into a really lovely b&b, with lots of nice personal touches. Nothing is too much trouble. Catering for all dietary requirements, help with local places to eat and visit. Train times. Delicious breakfasts and a great selection. Her and her staff make you feel very welcome. Lugo Rock is also in an ideal location, only minutes from Gyllyngvase beach, Falmouth town train station and the harbour. "

"Although it was just for one night, we really enjoyed our stay at the Crown Inn. It is located in an old part of Goldsithney, Penzance where old stone buildings flank narrow streets. Parking is on the street, but we had no trouble finding a spot near the Inn. Rooms are located on the second floor, with the pub, dining room and kitchen occupying the first floor.
