"Hotel is in a great location and easy to walk to local attractions. Upon arrival we were notified of a wedding being held below our window and that the music would stop @ 10 pm. While it did stop at the promised time, it was not the peaceful and relaxing overnight stay we would have preferred."

"If you’re skeptical don’t be. Also don’t let the drive in make you uncomfortable. Remember it is Charleston. This small boutique motor inn was perfect for our stay. We felt very safe. The check in process made me feel a little weird at first, but I’m skeptical about doing anything over the phone or email in today’s time. Anyways, It was close to down town. The drive into the city was straight forward, what seemed to be, an Industrial back road. No traffic. On arrival you literally pull straight up to your door. The room was perfect. It was very clean and well maintained. From the throw back decor to the floor everything was very nice and clean, the vibe was perfect. My wife and I joked and said we could have just laid in the comfortable bed all day and ignored our obligations. We will be back in 6 months for our next appointment at MUSC. Thanks starlight for making our stressful day a little bit more peaceful."

"Great location… we could walk to everything. Room not as pictured on website. Dark and dank. Bathroom smelled… think it was the water? Toilet ran. But the staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. I think it was to expensive for what it was, but it was also during graduation time, so maybe rooms were in short supply?"

"The staff was friendly and helpful. We experienced several operational glitches. We left our room at 7am and we we returned at 3pm the room was not cleaned. At 11:45pm, the smoke alarm weak battery signal starting chirping and waking us up. It was fixed. At 7am our curtains automatically opened and woke us up, depriving us of 1-2 hours more sleep. The hotel seems to be slipping some since it was sold. "
