"Our stay at Y Capel was wonderful! We loved the heritage associated with the building. Our room was large and clean. The bathroom seemed to have been recently updated and the shower was awesome. The common area was lovely with extra amenities. Check-in at the Erskine Arms (immediately across the road) was quick and easy. Breakfast was included (at the Erskine Arms), and it was delicious with lots of choice. Y Capel is a wonderful spot for exploring all the sites of Conwy. We would highly recommend it.
We had only two minor complaints during our stay. First, the heated towel rack seemed awkwardly situated on the wall opposite the toilet so we kept knocking our heads on the rack when standing up (the bathroom was quite narrow) but we eventually got used to avoiding it! The other minor inconvenience was there is no air conditioning; however, a large fan was supplied which suited our needs but may not be sufficient during warmer months or for people who like it very cool.
