"A well placed hotel for visiting the city. Lovely art deco designs are everywhere, and the hotel has real character. Arriving during a yellow warning heatwave, the air conditioning in the room made for a pleasant night’s sleep. Breakfast was quiet varied, with a hot food option in the form of bacon and eggs. The real highlight was the help we received from the hotel staff. They were engaging, and able to answer our queries about where places were, and how to get about using the public transport...

Loved the historic building and old furniture/pharmacy artefacts in the communal areas whilst the bedroom was modern, clean, quiet and with excellent air con which was needed! Staff were very helpful, including not only ordering us a taxi but also walking us to the meeting point (as the guesthouse is on a pedestrianised road) and waiting with us to check we got it. "I like this Apartment, very centrally located and you can walk slightly longer around to avoid the many steps through the church. The layout is comfortable for our 3 nights stay, has many plug-in outlets, big refrigerator, washing machine and best of all free parking."
