Hotels near Clearwater Marine Aquarium

"This is a very weird hotel. Apparently it is designed as a short stay hotel, so there are no drawers or closets, just a long, useless bench in the room. Why would you build a short stay hotel in a resort? Also, the rugs in the hallways are disgusting for a fairly new hotel. It seems like management is on a very low budget. They don't refresh the coffee or the soap or the water. And the water takes forever to get hot. Very last century. When I didnt get room service, the woman told me they were sold out. What does that have to do with me? There are better properties in the neighborhood for a better price."

"The location of the resort was great, cleanliness and overall look and feel was top notch. It was far to crowded for us, but between baseball opening day and the tail end of Spring Break, I get it, but our anniversary date doesnt change. I am very disappointed in the staff, not their attitude , but in their ability to complete simple task requested of them, task I offered to pay for if they could just get it done, task they assured me no less than 5 times in 2 days would be completed. I just really dont understand how such nice people, that seemed to have their act together, could literally lie over and over..I almost feel like the break in communication might have been on the back end and maybe were not aware. I probably wont stay here again, 800 per night to get lied to isnt worth it..I can get that at home for free."

"This hotel is by the beach. It’s a 6 minute walk to the beach. There is a parking lot however it is small. They do have a parking garage, but it is not attached to the hotel. They do charge you a resort fee when you get there. No bikes are available like at some resorts. It’s a nice place and good location. It is due for an update on the inside.. nothing that should keep anyone away. It is close to everything. There are some great restaurants in the area!"

"We stayed here for 4 nights. Things we loved: the location was great - close to beach and many great restaurants, the staff was super friendly and helpful, the room - even tho ours was quite tiny - was very clean and was tidied every day while we were out. We also loved the patio area right outside of our room. It was too chilly to use the pools while we were there, but the pool areas looked lovely. Lots of free parking for guests. We had a great experience staying here. "

"We had the Beachview balcony and that was the best thing here. Everything else was below average for being so expensive. The hotel itself felt dirty and had a weird smell. Shower didn’t drain fast enough so every shower we had to use our sandals and stand in a puddle of dirty water. The pool looked dirty and the morning breakfast is not really a breakfast. They only had bagels, some cold toast, juices and some muffins. I was expecting eggs, sausages and waffles. But no. They also charged me $30 for an extra guest fee but I didn’t even have an extra guest stay with me but they refuse to refund me the $30. Also, the ladies at the front has no idea of their processes because they told me to contact hotels.com which I did but hotels said they never wrote down an approvals for refund. They lack communication and I lost $30. Whatever, won’t be back to this hotel ever again. "
