"This hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Chesterfield near shops, the Market, restaurants and pubs. All members of staff are friendly, helpful and very pleasant. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We very much enjoyed the varied breakfast buffet with excellent coffee ‘on tap’ and dined in the simple but delicious in house restaurant nearly every night. They have a decent Happy Hour in their small bar too. We shall be returning to this hotel on our next visit to Chesterfield "

"The welcome was shocking, the arrival time was wrong. Did not receive the entry code by email the day before. The stairs very steep. Very dusty in bathroom. The shower only had very hot water. "We stay at the Travelodge in Sheffield to move my son out of Uni halls. The Travelodge was easy to get to and parking was next door. The staff were very helpful, especially with the parking. "Property needs a little TLC. The main light in the bedroom did not work, you cannot amend the height of the shower head as it has rusted in place. Toilet wobbles and there is no where to hang towels once you have used them. Main issue was the upstair neighbours who only have one volume, loud and was woken at 5am by them arguing. "Fundamentally this should be a nice apartment, despite the tiny twin room. Living area and kitchen were nice and the main bedroom and the bathroom were both spacious.
