"We arrived very late, around midnight, and didn’t realize that the reception on this side was already closed. However, we were able to check in at the Almasur Hotel next to the express. The staff at Almasur were extremely friendly and helpful—much more so than the express reception. Unfortunately, we had a flat tire, and the Almasur hotel staff went out of their way to assist us by calling local tire shops on our behalf. Since it was Saturday, many shops were unavailable, but they kindly allowed us to leave our car in their parking lot until we could get the tire fixed, which helped us tremendously. The express hotel room itself was cozy. While not very large and with a bed on the smaller side, it is quite new and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend the Almasur Hotel to my family and friends, and I would happily stay here again if I return."

"We stayed at Hostal Baquedano for two nights—one before and one after our hiking trip to Torres del Paine. Our stay on both nights was very comfortable. Héctor and his staff were extremely kind and helpful. The room was clean, and both the packed breakfast and the onsite breakfast were excellent. The hotel also offered free luggage storage, and when we returned for our second night, our luggage had already been placed in our room"

"Although the hotel is about 1.6 miles from the town center, the view more than makes up for it. Getting into town was easy with readily available Ubers and taxis, and tours and transfers conveniently included the hotel on their routes. A good breakfast was included; however, unlike some hotels, they do not offer a packed breakfast for early departures, so a bit of planning is needed. Overall, it was a great stay and I would happily return."
