The Chicago Theatre was built in 1921 and was originally named the Balaban and Katz Chicago Theatre. This building has become the unofficial landmark for Chicago representing the rich arts and music culture Chicago is known for. In 1979 the building was added to the list of historic buildings, and later in 1983 was added as an official landmark for the City of Chicago.

"We had a wonderful stay at Hilton Chicago. The hotel is beautiful, well-maintained, and perfectly located in downtown Chicago. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was professional and friendly. You can really feel the history of this place, but at the same time everything feels modern and well organized. Great views, great service, and a very pleasant atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again."

"Got a great upgrade to the wellness room. The bathrooms are large and spacious. Mattress is on the softer side and the gym is small but has what you need. The staff is friendly as well. The best thing about this hotel is the location and I would stay here again! "
