Champagne hotel rooms a the Appartcity

"Pet friendly. In pedestrianised square. Underground public parking - not for high vehicles! Hotel lovely and breakfast good too. Will definitely visit again. Plenty of restaurants and bars for food in the square. Great atmosphere. We parked near the station and walked as it wasn’t too far "

"Arrived after 13 hour drive ordeal and they couldn’t find my booking despite having paid I full. Was then made to pay another £300/night to secure two twins room for us four, not even next door to each other. Also told the kitchen closes at 11 for room service, yet they closed at 10.30 so we’re lot even able to order proper food after a whole day of driving "

"Plus points - We stayed in a junior suite, 2 adults and 2 kids and space was great with a lovely wrap around balcony. It was also very quiet (top floor) Lovely bar area and pool for the kids. Good secure parking. They have really thought about families and have a little games room and a movie / play room for the smaller kids, so excellent for parents to get 10 minutes peace to enjoy a glass of the local champagne! Negatives - electric car charging won’t work unless you have a 50five charging card. There is no way to charge without this. Very disappointing and first time in France I’ve ever had this problem. Pool is freezing so not really a hot tub experience! Needs to be at least 10c warmer. There were no clean towels left either. Maybe it would be nicer in the summer. Food - there was nothing in the hotel, it claims to have bar snacks but most were unavailable. Complete missed opportunity from the hotels perspective as it was half term ski transfer day, you could have cleaned up. We would have rather sat there and drank champagne and nice wine (and we would have spent a lot more money) than gone to the pizza place opposite. This was fine but I’d recommend getting a takeout and sitting at the hotel bar than in the pizza place. The other restaurant opposite was closed (sat 21st Feb) and that looked much nicer. Overall it’s a really convenient hotel for a motorway stop and there is a huge L’erc 5 mins away to get fresh food and wine for your journey. "
